Thumbs down

ok..not sure how to put a poll on here, dont think i can unless im a mod?
anywhooo my question to you people is this...

If you own a 05GT/05 V6 and have the factory spoiler, would you trade your trunk lid with the spoiler for a trunk lid without the spoiler to another person(with the same color of course)?

The reason I ask this is, I dont want to pay the $295 for a spoiler and vinyl decal on the rocker panel, I'd rather trade the decklid and buy a C-stripe vinyl decal instead Also, just to make sure, is there a VIN # decal thats on the underside of the trunk lid, so that IF i did swap with someone, we wouldnt be swapping vin tags. Thank you guys!

PS- if you have the bullit rims, would you also trade them for the V6 rims with the tires? Windveil Blue with bullit rims looks AWESOME

Buy a sonic blue and drive up to Toronto, you got a deal.

its probably cheaper for you to get the sport appearance package.

To have the decklids swapped, you will have to pay some labour and run the risk of the paint not matching ever-so slightly. You also run the risk of scratching the decklid during the swap.

If you buy an off-the shelf spoiler and have it installed, it will probably come close to the $295 anyways.

And unless you live down the street, you will have to pay for packing and shipping. Sounds like this could quickly get expensive. Now if you find someone in your home town......

The spoiler has grown on me, although I still think the car looks cleaner without it. There should be a vin sticker on the trunk lid. I wouldn't swap it out though, too much a pain in the booty, and knowing my luck it would never line up right.

So you are asking someone else that paid for their spoiler to just give it to you? That doesn't make sense why someone would do that.

I still think if you are going to make that trade with someone with a V6, you would have to offer them some type of compensation since they still payed extra for that. If you trade with a GT owner that's different because the price is the same with and without the spoiler.

Save your time and $$, Ricky - get a CDC ducktail spoiler. a million times nicer lookin, and its easier to install a new aftermarket spoiler if u don't have the stock one.
