Winter Tires/Wheels
Within the next couple of days I will be ordering a 07' GT Premium Coupe which will be my daily driver year round.
I won't need winter tires till next year but I am curious to know what other members run as winter rubber.
I have had very good luck with Michelin alpins on my wife's Bimmer so they will strongly be considered.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

Suggestion: don't drive the car in the snow
I have no experience with winter tires, because I live in an area that doesn't have constant snow, so if needed, I just take another vehicle.

Bridgestone Blizzack's 235-50-18, on 18" FRPP argent bullitts for me. I got the package from tire rack for about 1600-1700 mounted and shipped before a 50 dollar rebate.
I had the car in some snow/ice a couple times this year and it is great. And last night it was pretty bad out, and considering I had only a 1/4 tank of fuel for ballast and no additional weight in the car, I was thrilled I have been driving RWD cars in the snow with snow tires on dedicated wheels forever (I hate front wheel drive cars with a passion). I have NEVER gotten stuck with any car or had what I would consider problems getting around through all the crappy NJ winters we have had.
AWD is fun too in the snow, but when people ***** about RWD cars in the snow, I just laugh.
If you own a RWD car in a snowy area, snow tires make all the difference in the world.
I know alot of you know this already, just venting.

I have used Bridgestone Blizzaks in the past. Been doing ok with the stock tires in the winter.
My roomate has Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires on his Mazdaspeed 6. He really likes them. They are a winter tire instead of a snow and ice tire like the Blizzaks. It's quieter at highway speeds and the tread is supposed to last longer when driven on dry pavement. Most of the roads around here get plowed relatively quickly.
