Windshield problem.

Hello.

Since the first day i got a problem with my 2005 GT.

In rainy day i can't see well throught my windshield, there is always some water on it. it's not on all the windshield the most of it is on the driver side (of course ) Tried to clean it with many product, still got problem. Two weeks ago i bought some brand new wiper (not oem ford this time) and the problem remain the same. Yesterday i took my sponge, my dishes soap, and tried to clean another time my windshield. To make sure that my windshield was clean i touch it with my hand, and what a surprise i found that my windshield is not flat !! you can feel waves, left -> right direction. So it should explain the water that still stay after wiper pass.

I'm alone with this problem ? is it normal ?

I found another friend with the same problem, but i want to know if it's a hidden feature of the mustang or ford product.

Thanks.

If you're saying that your windshield is bowed inward in places towards the interior, then that is not normal. The normal windshield is not flat, and has a slight curvature outward though. I know they don't make window glass like they did years ago, but maybe you should have your service dept. look at it and see if it is normal or defective......

I'm not sure what the problem is, but if the wipers seem to be skipping maybe some wetting agent like Rain-X might help. It'll make the water want to bead up and slip off easier.

If something serious is going on, bring a gallon milk container filled with water and get yourself down to your dealer. Show him the problem and get him to fix it.
