Window Tint pics

I live in colorado and the laws says i can only tint my windows to 27%. Now I have found a couple shops that do tint. Some say they will got to 15% and that they never have problems with cops and others only go to 27% and have had people with 15% or 20% have to come in and have theirs removed. So, with a black mustang with black interior do you think 27% is enough or should i go to 20%? Does anyone have any pictures with 27% or similar on the car?

I say go as dark as possible. just roll the windows down if you think the cops are checkin you out...but I live in AZ so cops pretty much understand that if we didnt tint our windows black as hell we would burst into friggin flames

I have 20% on both my cars and the law here is 35%. I have never had an issue.

27% is the law where I'm from and I plan to have both of mine tinted at the limo level when I get it done in the future (probably next year). My experience with tint shops is that they'll either give you some sort of disclaimer or no receipt for the installation of the tint. When I went with my friend when she got 5% tint all around put on...the shop didn't give her a receipt for her purchase (the cops usually asked who did the illegal tinting from my experience). So far it hasn't been an issue and in my area cops don't pull you explicitly for tint (unless it's outrageous like 2 tints in one, colored or holographic) unless you committed some other moving violation first. I think with 15% or darker you should be fine but if you're worried about cops, just wind your windows down every now and then. This is what my friend does whenever she goes into an area where cops are heavy and that's what I plan to do I get my windows tinted.

Here are a few pics of mine. 20% all the way around. Prob wouldnt have any trouble with the cops if I went 15%... I just dont want to have any trouble seeing at night. Would hate to back into something because the tint is too dark... 20% looks fine to me
