Hello fellow forum members. I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experience with this particular rear window louver. I purchased this about a year ago and have yet to install it on my 2008 GT, but I have assembled it and did a test fit. What I’m seeing is that this does not fully fit flush to the edges of the top and sides, which really bugs me. Not sure if this is because it’s for S197’s through 2014 and there’s a difference in the rear window dimensions. Seems like they made it to fit just enough but in when installing you have to make sure to space it evenly so the gaps match on both sides.

At first I thought maybe I received the wrong one but through my research online all point to the one I have being the correct part for my car. I tried to contact Willpak a handful of times with zero response at all, so much for customer service.

If anyone has experience with this particular louver, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

 

There were no design changes regarding the greenhouse/rear window dimensions on S197 models from 2005-14.. More than likely your rear window louver has design flaws, quality control issues.

It is what it is.. Therefore, I would consider contacting Willpack via telephone over e-mail support, if you haven't already done so.. Otherwise, consider reporting them to the BBB if they continue not to respond
