***********Limited allocation from now on in Canada**********************
Just picked up my VIN # and Dora on Thursday for my Feb. 28th Build Date GT.
Manager of the dealership told me that Ford US is stealing Canadian allocation to handle US demand. He said he cannot order anymore, no more details than this. I suspect that they will limit new Canadian supply until the glut of mustangs, sitting on dealers lots is cleared up. To me this means the spring.
I was wondering how long it would take Ford US to do this. If I was the President of Ford, I would have done this a long time ago. Not politics, just good business, If I can sell a car in Florida or have it spend the winter sitting on the lot here in Canada, what would you do?
FYI: I ordered with my dealer in mid Jan. I was told at this time, they woud place the order with Ford in Mid Feb., using their March Mustang GT allocation. I did not want my car till April, but I was concerned that this was leaving it too late, with all the supply problems in the US.
Anyway, dealer was right, if order was place in Jan., I would be stuck with my GT sitting in my garage right now, waiting for Spring. I will probably get my car sometime in April.
PS: Anyone have a stock set of GT wheels for sale. I got the machined brights and need another set of wheels for next winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have that in there because I get tired of his comments.

Also if RottenRonny is correct and a sales manager from a dealership posted, then you just created another useless thread. The manager one would think is more informed then some unknown poster. On top of that you are cross posting a thread that has already been posted. Congrats on making another awesome thread. I should really be banned for helping out, and you should become and admin for all your wonderful contributions. There isn’t a big enough roll eye smiley/emote in the world to cover your line of thinking.
Keep raging against the machine there man, your kind is a dying breed here.

In all honesty, Altoid, the only thing that should be banned is your LACK of sarcasim.
Back on topic means - No! Ford of Canada dealers are still getting allocation.
Read the rest of that topic's postings.
Canadian numbers are relatively small, so even if there was no Canadian allocation, it would not make a significant difference to the wait times in the US anyway.
Once the spring comes, any Mustang ground stock will sell real quick.
Even though our prices are higher relative to the dollar difference.
