Wife took the Mustang out tonight...
The wife took the Mustang out tonight to go to the movies with the "girls". I didn't think it would bother me but man does it stress me out
I keep worrying about her parking next to some beater and ending up with door dings
The other problem is that she can't back down from a challenge, if somebody tries to race her she'll nail it! At least we got the auto, she tried that in our '02 GT manual and then freaked out when she realized she had to shift at high RPM's :drive:
I guess she is at least used to driving muscle cars - this is what she drove when we first started dating:

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get used to it. Not many wives would let their hubby get two new mustangs in three years time. I actually bought the '05 GT without her knowing about it until I drove it home. The cool thing was, instead of castrating me on the spot she wanted to know when I was going to get stripes put on because she thought the hood looked plain
She also let me allot money for wheels, tires, and some performance mods which I plan on doing after the 5K service.
Anxiously awaiting for the movie to end

She'll be alright (the car) my wife takes my GT too, sometimes to work and I get so paranoid. I call her throught the day and on the way to work to see if things are ok as well. My advise to you is :worship:
Hey, Doug,
I love your car....that's my original color choice...but opted for white....love it!!!
Your wife will be fine......I feel the same way when my hubby drives my Stang. Makes me nervous!!!! I know he'll take care of it, though. And she will, too.

I am actually in the process of teaching my wife to drive for the first time in our new Mustang GT. Fortunately it's an automatic, but it's very nerve-racking. I am starting to think I should get an independant teacher for her, we''re too close
But, we're almost done, I hope.
