Who knows, I could wait a couple of years, and buy your used 05GT from you for a little over half of what you paid wink.gif
Where I live the winters are pretty bad and most Mustangs are stored for the winter and so you can get a very low mileage Mustang in great condition for half the price after a few years...

I hear you.

When I bought my 96GT, I lived in Omaha, NE. I drove it from March to November. I then moved to Winnipeg, Canada for 3 years, and drove it from April to October.

8 years after I bought it, it only has 48,000 miles. Now that I am in San Antonio, I drive it year round. Need to put some miles on it before I get a new one.

I'm waiting....but it's a tough wait. I'm totally drawn to the '05 GT, but I'm going to wait to see if the Mach I/Boss is going to come out next year or the year after.
ditto, rumors of 5.4L n/a se's abound......

LOL...funny you bring this up, EleanorsMine....I'm having the same discussion with my wife....

She loves the Mineral Grey....I love the Black...or Sonic Blue.

This is one of the other reasons why I'm waiting....I think we're gonna compromise on Mineral Grey, but I get to pick the model....so we might be getting a Cobra after all!

Hmmm, gonna have to teach her to drive stick though...maybe I'll "forget" for a while...lol

"As I have said in previous posts, many Mach 1 buyers wished they had waited about 18 months when they could have saved about $6000 on a Mach 1 in late 03/early 04 vs early 03."
I agree with you. I am interested in buying a Mach or Shelby, if not a GT will suffice.
Another reason that I am not buying just yet is because I am getting married next year. Time to start saving for the wedding and eventually a boat for the weekends. I am also drawn to the new Vette. I love every aspect of this machine, so does my fiance. Who knows, I might opt to get a vette eventually. :nono: NAH I am a mustang guy and that is it. I have mustang in my blood and can't help it. Even with all the problems with my recent stang, e.g., leaking, tranny, engine, leaking windows, there is nothing like the look and sound of a stang

Wink

I got my mustang yesterday.

Prolly not a smart move to make... considering I paid over MSRP (not much though)... but once winter break is over... I won't have a car to drive. So basically I needed a car asap. Another reason why I got it so early is because i'm planning on working over vacation, and I would definitely need a car to do that.

I know i'm prolly dumb for settling w/ the price over MSRP... but the joy I get driving the stang makes it all worth it (the attention I get from people isn't too shabby either ).

Oh and btw, I'm far from being wealthy.... I gotta bust my ***** to pay this darn car off!

I am so in love with this car! Which makes it hurt when I have to remind myself that I can't afford it. I've never actually desired a car before.

I am hoping to have one in 2007-2008. Yeah its a long time but I'm the patient type.

Having such a desire for the 05 has made me take care of my current 02. I spent 5 hours washing and waxing it this weekend!

I have to wait too, until I'm finished with studies at the Uni. Downside being the wait is painful, upside that hopefully Ford will add some goodies to coming models and iron out eventual flaws.

But my caring friends gave me a silver Hotwheels Concept GT.

Hes like-------- its your car but that green looks like pea soup. The only thing I can get him excited about is the yellow with black stripes......which I think is nice, but I wouldn't want to drive it daily.

I gotta find him a Ford truck.........He can have a blazin yellow one of those.....

I am waiting alot longer than most. Due to several reasons. The first is my wife's vehicle is not paid for, but will be in July 08'. But, in the mean time, I want build a shop and restore my Dad's 66' Fastback. Then I will be open for a new Mustang/Cobra or equivalent. So, somewhere around 09' or 2010. But, I still have the 1999 GT "Limited" and it has under 53,000 miles. So, its still pretty new and looks it too. So, I'm not suffering to much.
