Very true! Expanded the Mustang market, that is for sure. I personally had an '86, '88, '94, '98, '01, and '04 before our two '07s. They are by far the most well built and comfortable though!

I don't think I'm going to like the 2010 as much. Though, since it's the same platform, I wonder how hard it would be to transfer the hips over to a 05-09... Hrmm...

Figuring they start in the door... probably a lot...
and since the lines are carried through the side of the car... you'd have to replace pretty much every panel to make it look right.

I'll trade in for the 2011 with 5.0 6 speed
More aggressive look, great looking interior... beast of an engine...

Don't call me a poser. I loved the Mustangs up until the Mustang II and never was a fan of the sn95 or fox bodies. This one, S197, brought back the classic Mustang that I loved.

I'm also a Corvette fan, but don't want any part of the C3 of C4 'vettes.

I want a 5.0 (350+ hp), six speed manual tranny, SYNC, a NAV, the speedometer on the correct side of the gauge cluster, and all of the other goodies that come with a new car.

My 2005, my "AV4", will be replaced by the "AV5" when the 2010s appear. (assuming the new ones meet my above demands!)

I have 50k miles now, I expect to have about 65-70k when trade in day happens.

And NO I am not a poser! I have owned 1974, 1981, 1989, 1998, 2002, and 2005 'Stangs!

I'm thinking of selling my Mustang altogether and getting an Si.

I'll come back to buy a new Mustang when I have the money.

I know I wont be able to get rid of the 05. I have a hard time giving up my toys. I had a 95 v6 that I didnt want to sell even after I blew the engine. I had a 92 f-150 that was my first car that I just sold a week ago, now I have an 89 LX that I just got to take its place . and Im sure Ill be getting a 2011 stang. My driveway is going to look like a parking lot in a few years.

Keep mine and give it to my son someday. Buy a new one when I can but always keep this one.

As it's going right now styling wise I'm not seeing enough to upgrade. Sure the bigger motor is nice but in a couple years I'll look at a blower anyways.

I am so in love with this current body style. I've always been a Mustang fan. Heck, I even like the "II's" especially the 1975's (?) with the 302 only if they were the hatchbacks because V8 sound and because they kept the Mustang coming through.

By the time I pay off this 07 in 2011, the new 5.0 will be on the show rooms. My son graduates high school in 11 also. He says he wants this one, but if he doesn't take this one over, (heh heh) I'll be an owner of TWO Mustangs. Might as well keep it. With an 07, we're smack in the middle of the sweetest body styles since (to me) 1969 and Windveil Blue is no longer with us.

Son... I might have to hook you up with a nice down payment.
