I've done some research on the board and found these two:

Midway Ford LA
Dan Beam
213-388-8834

Mossy Ford
Teri
858-273-7500

I live in Hollywood so if anyone has any others I would much appreciate it.

I'm looking to order an '06 and want to go with someone I can trust.

Already went to Galpin in the valley... they tried to get me to put an '05 on order... I said I was more interested in getting an '06 with the new paint/wheels... their reply was that as far as they knew there were no changes on the '06... wanted me to put $1k down for an order... which I thought was a little steep.

Anyway... any help would be appreciated

Do a search for posts by Altoid and Jessica Rabbitt on this subject. You will find some useful info there.

Ok so I did a search for both on this subject and found nothing. I found many many posts by Altoid, but not any pertaining to dealers in SoCal.

Does no one know of any other good dealers??

I bought my '05 GT at Santa Monica Ford. I ordered it via the Fleet Manager last May, and received it in October. They sold it to me for $500 over invoice. I find them very easy to work with. I ordered it without any deposit or written purchase agreement. They stuck to their original price without any games. This was my second car purchased through them. They do have their lot-based '05 GTs marked up $3,000 over MSRP though. Maybe I just lucked out and got mine before all of the hype.

Advantage Ford Lincoln Mercury in Duarte. 210 @ the 605. Bought my 05 GT there and have had nothing but great service. I orderd on the 29th of Sept. and had it seven weeks later with NO mark-up. Give them a call and ask for John Petrotta if your going to order.

BTW, I was just there today for an Oil Change and the 3D Carbon GT is there. The White one with the Red Stripes. Nice to have finally seen it up close and personal.

I'm from NorCal, so didn't pay too much attention to the posts, but I think Altoid recommended a dealer near LAX and JessicaRabbitt recommended Rancho Santa Margarita Ford. You could PM them for more info if your search turned up nothing.

I also remember another poster had a problem with a dealer in either Hollywood or North Hollywood (not sure which).

thanks Jim.. you are correct!

Daniel Hernandez is my guy at SM Ford, and he kicks hiney. I got my GT for $89 over invoice, in exactly 12 weeks. He was aware from the get go that I knew more about this car then he did, and he was totally ok with it! LOL
