I do not understand the idea to be proud of low miles. Is there anybody who could explain to me the message of this thread? I am from DELETED, and I have never had this car. It is interesting to learn why some people prefer this model. There must be some winning features for it, right? Share them, please.

If for whatever reason your not able to comprehend why so many people are Mustang car enthusiasts and why they prefer them over other makes/models? Then what reason would you possibly have for wanting to become a member of a Ford Mustang website forum, to begin with? That's what I don't understand

Low mileage to many Mustang owners (actually all sports/ muscle car owners) means you have many years left of a very enjoyable ownership experience in a sweet ride that isn't getting beaten and used up with daily driver usage. With our Mustangs in particular, especially this model, it was and still is an opportunity to own the classic looking Mustang that originated back in the 1960's, only this car is modern and made so much better. By keeping the miles low there is no reason for owners to ever have to sell their rides unless they want to change to something else. For me personally, my wife and I really enjoy taking vacations in our Mustang. Just wonderful highway cars and very few cars look as nice in our opinion. Being in our 60's means this Mustang may last us for our vacations for the rest of our lives. That's how Mustang owners feel in many instances. If I had to take a trip in an appliance (Camry, etc..) I would just be miserable and sad. If you are not a 'car guy' it might be tough to understand. I would suggest local car shows and cruise-ins in your area to check out the many low mileage rides that will be there. Talk to the owners and see them as happy as can be when talking about their cars. Pride in ownership will be very evident. If you were born in the 1950's and grew up with the incredibly exciting cars of the 1960's and early 70's, owning sports/ muscle cars has always been a goal to many. Owning an actual classic from that era is very rewarding to many, and if you prefer the reliability and even more power of the newer cars, then that's the route to go. I've 'been there done that' with the older cars and enjoy what's available today instead. We are very fortunate to have Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Challengers, etc.. that have so many amenities and incredible power. These times may fade too so we all enjoy our rides with equal pleasure. High gas prices, crazed politicians can destroy our dreams in an instant. We all keep our fingers crossed.
My 2010 has low miles, for a car that is 10 years old: just 105,000 miles so far! Runs great, loves to stretch its legs on the road track, no significant mechanical issues to date, still looks pretty much new!

My 2006 is 14 years old and has just 28,886 miles. By comparison 105,000 miles is considered high mileage lol. The good news however, is our Mustang 3v engines are very reliable/well built that run great with very few mechanical issues. IIRC, some have been known for going well over 200k miles that are still going strong. Anyhow, I suppose compared to 200k miles, 105k miles could very well be considered as low mileage, knowing just how well the modular 4.6L 3 valve motors are designed
