I ordered one of the very first 05's. Waited over 6 months and they could not tell where the car was. I ended up buying one of the lot. Bought it last November

 

I ordered mt GT the 2nd week of Jan '05, built in March 22nd, And my GT is still sitting somewhere in the Flatrock holding lot? I have built a relationship with all of the fine people in the VOPC over the mystery of my car, they say that there were 1700 Mustangs on "Quality Hold" and they do not know when mine will be released!? It's a good thing that Im a Dealer, and the car is being purchased by me and not a regular retail customer!

 

I'd love to post a pic...but I do not have the car yet; 8 months and 3 weeks and counting.

 

Brad - I can take a picture of me with a picture of the car from the promo flyer, would that help??

At the time I had a long wait, but now it's becoming the norm and then some!

i'm going to have them all beat.hows ordered on 01/28/05 was told it should be hear around december an 06 not an 05

 

Brad I order mine 5/17/05 at didn't come until 11/29/05 I saw it on truck going down road and fellow it down to truck stop until stop at my dealership

 

I feel guilty that I only waited 10 weeks exactly.

Ordered 9/23/04 (Thursday) took delivery 12/2/04 (Thursday). Mustang gods smiled on me...

 

It is not a very good picture but I can do better if needed.

 

Ordered March 3, 2004, deposit placed on May 25, 2004 (because dealer would not let me put a deposit down before this date) received car on Novemeber 19, 2004

Edit: I don't have a picture of me with the car for 2 reasons. I always have the camera in my hands and why would I want to ruin such a nice picture

 

I'd say you should have ordered from a different dealer

ordered on Oct. 16,2004 and she is supposed to be here by May 5th. I ordered a black GT, red interior, IUP, shaker 500, bullets, 5 spd manual, & spoiler.Count that up and you get 200+ days!

 

I can give you a picture of the car for now Brad but seeing that I have just a regular camera it could be about a month before I run through all that film .If you still want both just let me know

 

Ughh, I'm at 164 days and still clean and unscheduled. This is not good for my sanity. I think we need a 200+ day club, I'll be well beyond that number by the time my car shows up
