HaHa..Marshall Law!

I say for first time offenders we just fine them.

Second time offenders get a swift kick them in the throat and a fine.

And for Third Time Offenders, Woman, and Illegal Aliens: We should get Chuck Norris to kick them in the throat, and fine them too

For a door ding (if the culprit's car is till beside you), my rule of thumb is this: 1 door ding in my car equals a size 12 cave-in of the side of your door................

Found this on another site. I bet this is the type of person that would damage your car and not think twice about doing it.

I've never seen that show. But in the case of the spoiled rich girl that didn't like the color of the brand-new convertable her rich daddy bought her...if my dad bought me a brand-new car (no matter what make/model/color) I would have been happy.

I started out driving a 65 Volkwagen myself, and I never complained.
I drove that car until I had a chance to buy my 1st car, a used 86 Mustang followed by the new cars later on.

What's the punishment? A nice, stringy, thick, chunky, gooey loogey on the door handle. And then **** on the windshield so it runs down into the cabin air filter. End of discussion.

Door dings are one of the worse "things" that you can do to someone... Without getting to specifics, I actually saw some accidently push a buggy into my car . I wasn't feeling too compassionate at the time. Well, fortunately the rage subsided and I ultimately didn't end up in the back of a police car . But it was close...

this a really bad "trick" but....a tiny rock screwed down on the tire valve stem cap causes a slow leak.......people who door ding usually dont care if you ding their car.....but having to change a tire.....or two.......and you arent really damaging anything......
of course if I witness it......its on!!!!

Either a swift kick to a quarter panel or well placed dog excrement. I'm thinking on the inside of the door handle.

-If you really want to screw with them let a snickers sit out in the sun for a while. After its good and melted open it up and smear it all over their windshield as well as both passenger and driver side door handles. It will look like someone actually did take a **** on their car.

-Then drain all their windsheild wiper fluid out and pour in some beer/liquor

-Reroute the Windshield wiper spray jet to underneather the steering wheel, so when they give try to give the windshield a spray to help get the snickers (****) off, it hits them right in the gut with alcohol.

-Then if you are really ****ed off, you can call the cops and report a drunk driver. The cop will pull them over, smell the alcohol and BAM! They are in jail.

Or you could just ask them nicely to apologize for the ding?

I few months back the wife and I went to the movie theatre and when we came out the vehicle next to us was all crooked in their space and the wife barely had room to get into the car ... I gave their car some good scratches with my knife and smashed my knee into their side panels a couple times ...and that was our crappy galant we were driving ... I park WAAAAY away from everybody when I drive the stang though so shouldn't have a problem unless some jealous punk shlthead decided to take time to go over to the car and do something. but if something happened to it ..punishment would be worse

Some good responses here, I'm glad I will never meet any of you guys in real life. The first person to slam a door into the Mustang was my mom, she was afraid to mention it luckily it didn't ding the door.

Parking out in the middle of nowhere doesn't help, a hondarati or something along the likes sideswiped the Trans Am. Airport parking lots are fun too, you can always return the favor. It doesn't help when their ride looks as if it has been acquainted with a highway divider or guardrail.

The bottom line is there are people that are stupid or just don't care one way or the other. They don't care about the consequences of their spastic existence or or your reaction to the things they do. If they drive a beater, they probably don't care about another ding or scratch.

Most people aren't car people. They either don't/won't/can't care or understand that your car is important to you. They'll never realize how much of you that you put into purchasing/maintaining/modding it. They see shiny and assume expensive. Being angry or feeling inadequate, they think that you "have too much money to throw around," and don't realize that you have different priorities/responsibilities or made different decisions than they did in order to purchase your ride. In reality you probably worked hard and didn't have the misfortune or meeting a crazy broad to spend all your dough or steal you essence.

Thank God my baby is still “ding free”. I park in the furthest possible spot to my destination. I get good exercise out of this too My buddy however got his STi dinged at a mall near my house. I get a frantic call from him one afternoon asking me to come to the parking lot ASAP. By the time I get there he had keyed the word DING (about 5 inches wide) on the side of the other car’s door. It was an new looking Chrysler 300 and I felt my friend’s actions were a bit extreme… that was until I saw the ding on his door The MoFu in the Chrysler dinged his STi so bad that his paint was chipped on the ground and there was an inch deep dent. It was the most severe ding I have ever seen and still don’t understand how it could have happened. It was severe enough to call insurance and police! I had to talk my friend out of going back there with maple syrup to pour in the guy's gas tank.

Dang, some of this is scary. I pray to God I never ding one of your guys' cars by accident. Some of this is harsh, especially maple syrup in the gas tank, baseball bat, and knife. Very violent and scary...

What do you do if a stang happens to ding your car? same treatment?

My Stang is my primary car so i have to drive it everywhere and sometimes have zero option to "no park" (like if I have an appointment with a client). What I really worried about is parking at the airport. I have to go to Austin in a few weeks so my car will be there for 4 days.
