I got a 2007 gt and all ive done so far is K and N cai and Im trying to figure out what to do next. Im trying to decide between delete plates and tuner or long tubes and mid pipes. Any suggestions?

Go for the tuner, you will be happy you did.

Hey Coach,

As everyone in here has already stated I would highly recommend going with a tuner.

It will give you the best bang for your buck and if you get a tuner through us, it will also come with free tunes for life so all of your future modification can be tuned for at no cost!

I would highly recommend the Bama X4/SF4 Power Flash Tuner as I run it personally and absolutely love it.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Don't LTs require a tune? Or is it to just get the full benefits?

Pretty sure they require a tune, since they cause less back pressure in the exhaust allowing the engine to suck in more air through the the intake.

so if I do the tune with the cmc plates is that a good combo?
Or do the cmc plates make enough of a diff that a daily driver would be able to tell?

You will be happy with the tuner ... you will see a lot of improvement over your current set-up.

Steeda is a very reputable company with flawless tunes ... you will be very happy with the before & after ... definitely notice the difference.

The combo is very good ... you can see reviews the of the plates here:

Let me know if I can help support with your order ... depending on your budget ... we can see what kind of package we can put together for you ... but the tuner is a great choice!!

Best Regards,

TJ

Yes ! both the cmc delete plates along with the tune do make a great combo and you'll also notice enough of a difference as a daily driver as well

Here's a dyno sheet from my car way back in 05. I had just their exhaust and pulleys on at the time, the sheet shows the before and after with the CMDP's.

What exactly are you shooting for? Just a tune? A sleeper? The 4.6 3 valve has potential--depending on your budget. A stoker kit could turn the 4.6 into a 5.0L while retaining all your original accessories(A/C. alternator, belts, hoses, etc.)

I would go for the tuner also. You won't be sorry. I've always heard the plates were good for 5 maybe 6 hp. IMO you money will be better spent elsewhere. Put it in the header fund. I like mine
