from first glance you'd think its Grabber Blue but as you can see this is first S197, not the 10-12 S197. or is this really Grabber Blue? i see it in the color mini-forum in the 05-09 sub-forum but theres no threads showing cars in this color. i remember seeing spy photos of a similar color outside of Dearborn or somewhere of 05-09's in this color called Arctic.... something...

 

Definitely looks just like Grabber Blue. Maybe the owner painted it? IIRC, those spy shots were of Grabber Blue cars out for testing...

 

Yeah, it looks like grabber blue. There's an 05-09 V6 Mustang I see around my neighborhood all the time that is grabber blue, but it's a matte finish. Makes it very obvious that the owner just had it painted that color. The one in the picture you posted looks like an actual clearcoat finish though.

 

I know its Grabber Blue or suppose to be, but it really looks more like Chrysler's Petty Blue. The one in the picture seems darker like the Petty color. Still looks good on the 05-9 body.

 

Definitely not a factory color for 05-09 models. I saw a V6 coupe painted that color for sale on ebay a couple of months ago. Maybe the same car?

 

It looks more like my 2000 bright Atlantic mustang i had than grabber blu to me. Just my .02
