Low Fuel - Cruise Control

Did I just learn something new? Went to the car wash using cruise control. Pulled out after wash and moments later low fuel reading came on as expected since I was getting low on fuel. Drove up to highway speed, push speed control power button, no power indication in IP cluster and no cruise set. I then drove to gas station to fill up and voila, cruise is working again.

Never knew low fuel would interlock cruise from working.

I've never noticed it before, but now I'm gonna have to try it.

My 07 cruise will work with the low fuel indicator on.

I tried today. Got down below 50 miles to empty, and the cruise worked just like normal.

I'll have to wait till fuels down and try again. Maybe just a glitch coming out of the car wash on a hot humid day but have never had cruise issues before.

Did the SJB get wet in the car wash ? The passenger side on 05's are notorious for leaks there.

Yeah, cruise works fine on both the 08 GT, 12 6'er, and the 13 Raptor when the low fuel light is on.. Funny, as every time each was 'tested' the 'other-half' was driving. (-.-)
