Wait until some Soccer Mom in her Dogdge Van blows the doors of one of the Sherrod Custom Edition V6 Stangs...not a pretty sight, not to mention a reputation blow to a Mustang which looks like it's packing 500HP (but isn't)...all show, but no go!

There's a dealer near me that sells a lot of cars with nothing but fiberglass addons, and they charge a pretty premium price. I stopped to look a few years ago at what looked like a Lightning, but when I got close I noticed it had no official Lightning badges so I left before the salesman got to me. They also had Eddie Bauer copy Expeditions and Explorers, and I bet they sell some of these knockoffs as the real thing.

Sadly, there's a market for this stuff, otherwise they wouldn't make them.

I drove one them 427 TackPack cars with that spoiler. The car is awesome. The spoiler is adjustable,it may not be the styling most would prefer but even the Man-Racer Stang has a wing that is functional as is the Roush unit.Call it what you will, that Stang is a badd azz performer.

Even the "regular" 427R is quite a car. I'd love to put one of these to the test.

Seeing this thread again reminds me of a focus we saw at the dealer. It was an 05 and had amps, speakers, wheels, tires, suspension, some body work, and interior paint done by the dealer. I asked the price being curious and they said 26k. Originally priced for 32k but they said they lowered it since the car sat on the lot for 2 years. I just laughed and said you don't really think you'll get that do you? The salesman said "no - not anymore, but we sold 3 others when we first converted them"
