Maverick-Where on 130? Whenever I've driven through the North Brunswick area heading toward like the Turnpike on-ramp on 130, it was usually filled with cops. Just a heads up if it was anywhere near that area.

The 300hp under the hood of my GT saved my life last night. I was on my way back to school from oklahoma city at about 130 am, about an hour drive. It's a 6 lane highway (3 in each direction). I was in the right lane with a car next to me in the center lane and a car next to him in the left. I'm goin about 80, nothin big. Look in my rear view mirror and i see a pair of headlights tearin up the road, they keep gettin closer and closer and dont appear to be slowin down. when i realize it's not a cop chasin anyone, i decide to downshift and floor it to give this retard a way through traffic, i hit 115 to get around the cars around me, and even then he almost clips me. Then the guy gets what he deserves, he passes a highway patrol guy goin well over 120, and no doubt spent the night in jail.

 

Not a racing story, because anyone that street races in this county is an idiot since every 5th car is a law enforcement officer, well anyway. I pulled up to a red light next to a mid-90's Z28, we were both turning left. There was no engine reving to sign to the other that we were going to go on green. The green arrow came we both turned left and I gave it decent amount of gas but no where near full throttle and I let off when I reached the speed limit around 45 mph, at the whole time he was a few car lengths behind me, got to the next light I was turning right and he reved his engine as he was passing, not exactly sure what was meant by it, just went on my way.
