Weights of various options
I was reading the '05 Specifications Document and found some interesting trivia, the weights of certain options. Some are pretty suprising:
Active Anti Theft -- .5 lbs
Automatic trans. -- 46 lbs (v6) 40 lbs (v8)
Side Air bags -- 4.1 lbs
IUP -- 2 lbs
Shaker 500 -- 14.9 lbs
Shaker 1000 -- 73 lbs
Pwr Adj. Driver seat -- 4 lbs
Spoiler -- 4.9 lbs
Leather upholstery -- 5 lbs
Med. Duty Battery (req w/ Shaker 1000 and/or Active Anti theft) --5.4lbs
The Shaker 1000 option adds about 78.4 lbs! The power driver's seat is less than I thought, though.
