Does anyone have a pic of the standard17' wheels for the GT?

I am getting ready to order a 2007 GT and I really like the 17' bullet wheels the best (I also fear that the 18' bullets will get all messed up from all the road salt here in NJ) but I have not been able to find a good picture of them, and per usual the Ford websites pictures are out of date. Thanks in advance!

I'd get the 18" wheels if I were you... unless you plan on getting rid of the stock wheels in favor of aftermarket ones in the future.

If you want a larger selection of good tires, go with the 17" wheels. Most 18" tires are summer tires, while you can get snow tires or all-season tires in 235/55R17 (OEM size on the new Crown Vic police interceptors and LX Sports).

Is it my imagination or do the '07 wheels look a lighter grey than the '05 wheels do? The '07s look more Silver in those pics, and the '05 look more like Charcoal. Maybe it's just the flash. If they did change them, when?

The spokes are painted "gray/silver" while the outer rim area is polished and clearcoated aluminum. Why are they using normal wheel weights in that pic? I thought tire shops are supposed to use the stick-on weights for alloy wheels?

Thanks, but I know what the look like, I have a set. My question was did they changed the paint code for the Bullitt wheels at some time. Ford has been putting the normal/"scratch your rim" weights on every '05+ that I've seen.

No, You're not seeing things...they are definitely much brighter than the 05 & 06s. The are painted bright silver, not gray... They also have aluminum straps wrapped around them to house the new low tire pressure sensors.

Ford is still using the crimped/compressed wheel weights on their factory wheels, and yes it still scuffs the clearcoat

Thanks everyone, yeah I forgot about the ride quality loss when going to 18's. The Fanblades are really nice but I do need tires that are a little more weather "friendly", anyone know if the tires on the Fanblades are rated the same as the Pirelli's on the standard 17's?

I've been running on 18's for a couple months and In my opinion the ride and handling of the car is BETTER w/ the 18's.
