Webelectric 1-Touch Drop Top problem...

Anyone else that has installed this 1-touch drop top module having any problems with it? Mine works great except that about three random times now since I have installed it (it's been a couple weeks of pretty much daily use), when I press the button to have to top come back up, it stops at some point (never the same point). I just press the button again (keeping it pressed to bring it all the way down to the latches) and the next time it works fine... I checked each time to make sure there wasn't anything stopping the motion of the top before continuing, but nothing was blocking it or in the way... I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before I emailed Webelectric about it...

Thanks!

The Vert is definitely a lot of fun! Having owned both the Coupe and the Vert, I like them both for different reasons!

Hmmm... I may just email Larry over at Webelectric then... I dropped my top 3 times today and no problems... It's not annoying or anything, I am just wondering why it's doing it! Knowing me, it's probably something I messed up in the wiring!

It could be a faulty cap or something in the module. My one-touch rear window module flaked out on me and stopped putting the windows UP about 90% of the time. I emailed Larry and he sent me a new, redesigned module the next day! I love the customer service WE provides!

Oh, you just have to hold the stupid button (in upper console) for about 20 seconds. Not as "cool" as just pressing the button once and watching the show.

Question for the folks with this mod.

I would love to get this module, but have heard that the motor continues to run for several seconds after the top is up or down. Is that accurate? I'd love this mod, but that doesn't sound good for the motor.
