It's not an entirely new function, and seen it maybe in an 02, 03 GMC. I wasn't terribly impressed by it though, hopefully this one is better or I'll be shutting it off.

Read Grantsdale's whole post. He's also bashing him for being a v6 hater. Then he tells him to go back in his hole. That's what I like about Grantsdale. He tells it like it is, without beating around the bush. No strings attached!

Grantsdale kind of reminds me of the policeman for "The Mustang Source"

Since I never said it was a NEW feature, why is there this need to announce how it is???

Not sure how it compares to the others, I think maybe the 1-7 setting helps to control the amount of fluctuation in sound.

Yes, that is what 1-7 does. I have mine set on 4. But it doesn't matter because my shaker is NEVER on. yay for V8s
