bah. whatever man. Like, just think about it, if you were in someone like her position. She probally has no desire to own a muscle car. She can use the money towards something that she will actually want (and be able to) drive. The car will go to someone who will appreciate it more than her, which is what you guys are all pissed about, so I think its almost a good thing.

Um, so before it was Overhaul'd, it was a practical family car? Oh wait, it's not the blower - it's the springs, right? Just made that soccer-mom Mustang into too much "muscle" for her, eh? PLEASE!
A cynical person might say that this was a con from the beginning.
People like Chip Foose aren't short of a buck, but what he, and his team, do (working their rear-ends off) for the show is priceless :worship: . The disrespect being shown here is appalling, but sadly indicitive of the moral fortitude prevalent today. All take, all "me".
Never thought I'd see a pony I'd not shed a tear for if it were keyed...

What's all this "non-American" talk...some of the best troops I met in the 82nd were Latinos...so instead of sputing out useless BS think for a second and remember America isn't about color. That's what makes this country great...anyone can make it here.

I remember the husband stating that she was picky about alot of things like no stripes at all, etc., etc. You could tell she wasn't really thrilled about it. Not like a guy or car enthusiast girl would have been. To me, they wasted their efforts on that show. It was the one episode where I really felt the owner didn't really like it, just played along.
CHIP - I'll let you do my 05 - and I swear I won't sell it and I'll take care of it, and wash it and wax it.......etc., etc. LOL.

...and I will love him and pet him and call him George.
I agree, you could tell they were not as appreciative as others. I also did not like there was no story, it was only that she worked hard and had an 05 Mustang. Sad, I know a lot of people that work harder and would appreciate it more.
I'm sure afcop13 works much harder, puts in more odd hours, and is away from home more. I don't want to even guess how many times you have probably deployed in the last 2-3 years since the 05 came out.

I seen that car on ebay last night. They wanted $45,000 start of bid. 8k miles. I hope foose is happy doing a brand new car for that piece. I just knew he was going to sell the car after I seen the show. All the mods Overhaulin put in, and he started crying about a stripe. Maybe Foose should stick to helping the true car people who dream of owning the car of their dreams. I was laughing, that lady just seemed so stupid that got the car. But hey, that's what you get for doing a car for that piece of trash. Surprised he didn't try to scam people selling parts again like before.
Hey foose, how about you give me some free mods? I promise I won't sell and profit and take advantage of you or Overhaulin.
Hey foose, you wanna come mod my car so I can sell it?

It is also very disheartening to contemplate the possibility of FOOSE and the OVERHAULIN team shying away from newer cars due to the lack of morals / ethics, whatever one prefers, that the Husband and Wife team are emulating.
I am not speaking generally about their morals but specificlly about their irresponsible nature toward applying for the show and not considering how it may impact their future.
Who looks a gift horse in the mouth anyways?

Did she not realize he was gonna turn ten? Did that come as a surprise?
Plus, how is "10" all that much different than 9?

What a bunch of crap this is. I kinda knew this was going to happen. I believe the husband is a member at svtperformance.com because before they showed this episode for the first time he was talking about his wife having her 05' built by chip foose. If you remember in the episode after her car was "stolen" they left in his 03' cobra.

yeah, her husband has a sweet DSG terminator vert

I have not seen that episode and Im glad I didn't now. What I don't understand is why would Overhaulin even do this for people who obviously have money, there is no sentimental issuse?? This kinda smells funny...
What ever happened to the young kid who had the Mustang II that we were trying to help out after his father passed away? Did we ever hear back from Overhaulin on that?

Now that's a kid that deserves a freebie restoration
I've seen Overhaulin episodes where you see grown men weep at the sight of their cars that they thought they lost forever because of the memories of loved ones who handed them down. Those are the guys who deserve it.

It does reek of bad taste. those guys worked hard on that car, but I dont think it is the first time for someone ebaying a foose car. I think the guy who got the 69 mustang done at the sema show, ebayed his car as well.
