Waiting is driving us crazy, and the questions

Waiting is driving us crazy, and the question that gets bigger, and bigger will we like the GT? We haven’t driven one or even heard one yet, only seen two close enough to touch.
Driven the v6 and loved it, but will we like the GT?
Anyone find that their GT to loud or to fast or TOO anything?
Anyone going “OH I COULD HAVE HAD A V6?”
If we loved the V6 will we love the GT?
Will I go crazy if I don't hear something this week?
Thanks

If you love the 6 you will most definately love the 8.
It depends on what what you are expecting.
I have owned a number of 6's over the years and could not have loved them more. They are cruisers for the most part. You won't be challenging too many races.
The GT however represents the icon that it is, plus it has nads. Pretty big ones at that.
And no, It's not too fast, or too loud, or too anything except...............
Way too cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a good one If only I could have had a V6. No offense to the V6 owners - but - I'll bet you could find many V6 owners who would trade for the GT ... try finding a GT owner who would trade for a V6. Too loud? No way. Too fast? Never. Go for the GT, I am sure if you don't like the feel of the power, brakes and good ole get up and go - that you will find a V6 owner who would be happy to make the trade.

Let me say that I was in the same situation as you were. I test drove a V6 and was going to order a V6. I told the dealer to draw up pricing for both a V6 and a GT just so I could see the price difference. The next day I went back to the dealer to confirm my choice and place the order in the computer. I changed my mind last minute and am so glad that I did.
The car is awesome fast enough and not to loud at all. I had not test drove or heard a V8 until I received mine.
I am a District Manager for a Security Guard firm so my concern was, will I pull up to a client with the entire plant hearing me? Not the case at all. The nice thing about the GT is that you can keep it quite but if you get a wild hair you can get little loud with it too.
Believe me you will love it. My wife loves it too and she is glad as well that I didnt go with a V6. You should have seen me when I drove off the lot. I had a smile on my face from the dealer all the way to the house...I went to bed with a smile and woke up with one as well. It was like getting laid the 1st time. Sometimes I wonder which experience was better. LOL
By the way this is not a V6 bashing. I use to have a 2000 V6 and loved it. If I could talk my wife into a Mustang I would get her a V6. Its an awesome car as well.
