Well the car is mine, Im just 17 hours away from it. Im in Orlando, its near Washington DC, my parents will be making the 4 hour trip tomorrow to pick it up. I should be getting it from them within the week, Its killing me to know its mine and not have it in my possession though but it still feels so much better than worrying about my order status and such. I'll have pics posted very soon.

I can't believe noone has asked this yet...

Is there anyway you can get a copy of that memo and scan it / .pdf it so we can all look at it? I'm not quite sure that I believe that guy, regardless of the memo. Considering the contributions of Karpro and others, I'd assume they would know about it and post it up here.

Please don't take this as I'm disbelieving you, this is strictly towards the dealer. At any rate, I'm sure lots of folks would be interested in seeing it.

Congratulations on the new car!

I actually have to go by that dealership tomorrow to pick up a watch i ordered from Ford so I can get a copy of it. Ill then get it scanned. I have no doubt it was a scam by my dealer but it worked out for me because I got the exact car I wanted and a few extra options right away and not 4 months from now at basically the same price.

Here's betting they won't give it to you. If they are lying, which is likely, why would they want to give the world documentation proving it?

Glad to hear you got all the options you wanted. Was it cheaper than the one you had ordered too, you had said you were going to pay $1000 over invoice. Sorry if that is none of my business.

Well they showed me a copy of it the other day, Ill just tell them I need it for my records, (had to say I had an attorney to get my deposit back anyways).

I only ended up paying about a 1000 more for the one found then the one I had on order so it all worked out great.

Jerri,
your dealer is full of BS, Ford has asked dealers to not order IUP at this time because they know it can't be built right now. They have not discontinued it. Follow threads from karpro, he reports on what Ford is telling dealers to order and has not said IUP is discontinued.
Naners for finding your car

Why would he tell me that when he knew I was very patiently waiting and didnt care to wait for IUP, he had my sale guaranteed.....
Did I try to get you order one without IUP and red leather? If so, then he told you the lie in order to get the car built sooner (and get his money sooner as well). He doesn't want to put in an order that may take a couple months to come in. He wants his money now. [/b][/quote]

exactly, Jerri read under kevin's avatar. Sometimes that's what you have to do to bad salesman. Some of them are dogs, you have to rub their noses in their "mistakes" until they learn, or better yet, kick them in their ding-ding.
