Hey Cop On My Back, how do ya like dealing with John? He seems to be a good guy. Im thinking of going over to Van on the 16th for the "unveiling"
I got a reply from John and it should be here anytime now, no later than the 15th as there is a party on the 16th.

have you started harassing your dealer about when your car shows up? [/b][/quote]
He's expecting it on wednesday, I'm expecting not before the weekend. Rememberance day may delay its arrival.

I just spoke to my dealer in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and he advised me that the Mustangs which were being held in Buffalo will be on there way tomorrow. He will call me when the shipment arrives. I ordered mine almost 5 months ago...it's about time!!!!

Galaxie,
If your Aerostar could hold up for one more winter, you might be better off waiting until the spring but I'm sure it will be hard to do once you see these babies on the road.

I figure if I order within a month or so, by the time I get mine with IUP, the snow will be gone anyways

What dealer did you order with...that's ridiculous. I ordered mine at the beginning of June and had a VIN in September and was built and sitting in the compound in mid October.

Your dealer more than likely had a high priority code for the car or just many other cars ahead of you. The first thing I said when I ordered mine was "what is the priority code on mine". It was 25 and 2 cars were already ahead of mine. Ask what your prioity code is now, maybe they changed it on you and didn't tell you.

My car is enroute as I type. Just left the dealership where the owner told me he got the call at 6pm e.s.t that 3 05's had left the gate and were on the way! By this time tomorrow I'll be putting my baby to bed for the night . He also told me that all dealerships in ontario will have one within 72 hours  Finally

OMG why are all the car salesmen in Vancouver a bunch of slimeballs?
I do something simple like go to their website and request a quote on a GT, which I am going to buy, and they can't even do that right!
First guy emails back asking if the info is correct, I say yes and I never hear from him again.
2nd guy emails me telling me that there are going to be mustangs in in the next 24-48 hours and I should phone to book an appointment, which I replied, thats great, but I'm SURE that all I asked for is a quote.. and received no response.
3rd guy called me up and talked to me for a few minutes, asked me when I was going to buy one. I told him that as soon as I test drive one, if I like it, I'll buy it.
He said well put a deposit down now and if you don't like it don't buy it.
I said If I wanted to do it that way I would have ordered 3 months ago, no I'll do it my way. He then said, so you don't think the test drive will go good. Then my anti-salesguy weiner detector went off, I mean really they are trying to sell you a car, If they **** you off on the phone how do they make a frigging living doing this?
Anyone know any good Ford dealers in the Lower mainland. I actually want to buy a car, just noone seems to want my business.
