Finally they are showing up in Canada.....

 

I thought that the official release in Canada will be Nov 16...

 

I talked to a guy at Totem today - he said they're waiting for a black GT to come in "any minute now." In other words, TODAY!

Brown Bros. said November 16th.

Richport said November 20th.

 

I hope I don't run into anything when I finally do a double-take on the road.

 

Yeah, I'm lucky no one was in front of me when I saw one monday morning. This was even after I test drove one and I still did a double take. I did have to swerve a tiny bit to keep from hitting the curb as I was turning.

 

Finally, some good news for Canadians who ordered. I was beginning to think I'd have to fly to Sweden to get one before X-mas

 

I ordered mine from Richport, hopefully I dont have to fly to Sweden as well!!! It sure will be nice to see one of these babies in person!!! Its driving me crazy not knowing when My car will be here!!

 

In Edmonton my guy said the first(demo) was sold in 30mins and their first allotment is due the 10th.

 

i hear ya dan, i even pulled a double take the first time i saw a freestyle on the road and almost crashed on my bike. And i had already taken a good look at that car on the dealer lot. I'm gonna go nuts when i see a stang on the road, i haven't even seen one at a show or anything, so i'll probably end up with a broken arm if i'm on my bike at the time. I'll probably also get a broken arm if i'm with my girlfriend, cause i've been driving her a bit nuts with the whole mustang thing. She has claimed to like the car before, so maybe she'll at least pretend to be impressed, we just better not be talking about anything important when it happens or i'm screwed.

when dan (that's the other canadain guy) and I had a chance to see the Mustang, a crowd gathered within a minute of the car being parked.

 

I have my GT coming in from Richport as well. I got a reply from John and it should be here anytime now, no later than the 15th as there is a party on the 16th. Man, I have to sell my current vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Drove to a couple dealerships tonight,and still nothing...on a side note,id like to thank ford for keeping us waiting.The last couple weeks ive done a nightly drive too and walk about richmond auto mall.Still no mustangs in yet,but ive lost like 5 pounds. lol

 

For eager Canucks waiting for the 05s at dealerships, I just heard this morning that they'll be released on the 10th>

Ya, i just went and checked out the dealer near me, took a peek into their concealed lot out back. The only things with two doors were an 05 F-250 and a really old continental.

 

I saw a few more accumulating in the holding yard here in Calgary.

I have heard the 10th as well, but the gal at the dealership (Advantage Ford) said they might even have one tomorrow.

They are planning a formal unveiling for the 16th, so we should see them by then at the latest.

I keep getting your name wrong, is it steve daniels or dan stevens? So many posts that say dan and galaxie that everyone just meshed the two together I have a similar problem, Frankswildyears is a guy named Jim.

 

Advantage Ford in Calgary are "officially" expecting some on Wednesday the 10th, but may see them dropped tomorrow night.

I'll try to drop buy tomorrow evening and let you know.
