Anyone take off the V6 valve covers and get them painted or paint them... It looks like a PITA to get them back in without scratching them... Got some pics of my engine bay and one of the jungle of wires on the V6..

Thanx in advance

I can feel your pain. I did this with my T-Bird. Sure am glad I had another ride during the very long process. And, oh-yeah, these babies are coming off too.

Dave,

Do you know if the 4.0 valve covers have re-usable rubber gaskets? The dealer didn't know (the parts guy). He could tell me the price but wasn't sure if they were rubber re-usable or not. What a joke..

I know the new gaskets run 20 bucks a pop and that he would have to order them... :bang:
