UPD Delivered Goodies!!

I said I wasn't going to modify my 2008 GT outside of intake and exhaust.

...yeah, that was a complete lie.

Nothing horribly fancy, but this will be the first mustang that I've swapped gears.

Went with the Ford Racing 4.10's along with bearing and install kit to get it done right. Also picked up some charge motion delete plates and an update to my Tillman All Out tune.

Pretty excited to get these installed!

Hoping to have the 4.10's installed on Monday.

I won't have time to install the cmdp's until probably next weekend. Family and significant other obligations this weekend.

I'll definitely be sure to post up driving impressions.

Actually, I considered it. Even though my car has low miles I opted to get the full rebuild and install kits with it.

However I'm going to be going with a watt's link in a couple months so that made me pause a little on the upgraded cover and girdle. Also, I don't do much drag racing, and I don't have slicks, so it's a little overkill.

Since I put in the 4.10s I drive it like a 4 speed alot. Start off in second when just cruising around town. First gear goes by fast. Drop the hammer at 3k in second is a blast too.

Niiiice. I think I owe you a tune file, too. I'll shoot that over your way tomorrow morning so that you have it for next week when you install the CMDP's! Glad everything got there safely and United Package Smashers didn't play too hard with it!

I don't do or have the above either, but it looks cool. I think alot of what we have on our cars are overkill.

Watts link is a good move.

I can't say that I disagree with you on any particular statement.

Although, the watts link would cover up the awesome looking girdle.
