Under the hood

I have seen some mustang without the pony cover over the motor, what's up with that? Is that just for 07's?

It was part of the GT appearance package in '07. No package, no cover.

Wasn't an option for my 06 either... but picked one up for $55 last week.. plus a $9 badge.... and it's all good now.
