I am somewhat of a lurker on here. But what great feedback help and more have I got in here. Here is my situation. I am a less is more kind of guy. I dont like the factory spoiler on my car for this reason (Got a killer deal on a stang that I couldnt pass up), I prefer not to put any spoiler on it but may have to go GT500. Anyone out there in the small tiny rediculous chance that wants to swap out a V6 spoiler delete with a GT and OEM spoiler? I would be willing to pay for shipping to get the decklid to me, and for mine to get to you. Any help is appreciated. Thanks gents.

About an hour each way from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo and Dubuque Iowa. Smack dab in the middle of nowhere. I am in Cedar Rapids every day though. (Commute)

 

So you want a decklid with the spoiler and you have one without? If so, I would be interested but not until the winter when the car gets put away.

 

Sorry no you have it the other way around. I want my decklid with no spoiler, I have one but dont want it.

 

Yea, me too because I want to put on a CDC ducktail spoiler.

 

Others have tried this with little to no success.

My recommendation would be to get the GT-500 spoiler, it looks a LOT better and fits in the existing spoiler holes. No drilling or filling of holes required!

Others have tried plugging the holes with plastic, ductape, grommets, DAP (j/k about the last one) but IMHO that's a lame thing to do on a $20k+ vehicle.

(PS: I ended up throwing my stock spoiler in the trash because no one wanted it at any price. The stock spoiler has NO value IMO...)
