After reading about some of the nightmarish waits that some of us have had with our orders, I can't believe my good fortune. I ordered my car on December 30 and was told by the dealership today that the car is scheduled to be "born" on February 7!

-Redfire
-IUP (!)
-Standard Wheels
-Auto Trans (I know, I know...)

I bet I won't get any sleep tonight!

Wow that is fast. I ordered mine NOV 11 and just recently recieved a build date, the week of the 7th. I dont trust my dealer any more so I call direct.

Just as well, I suppose...it snowed today and they promptly poured salt all over the roads.

 

I spoke with my dealer and he said that my priority is 12 which is the next in line to be built for the dealership yet I'm still C/U

Hey,
You better make sure the dealer order it with the IUP and not the Int. Sport Package.
You can find this on the DORA, request it from the dealer, they should have a copy.

Me too. Still clean and unscheduled, but I didn't expect the car until the middle/end of February anyway. :bang: Congrats, by the way.

Although I shouldn't complain since some folks who ordered in Oct are still C/U.

 

everybody should know the dealer can and does change the priority code from day to day

Not neccessarily. He may have been third in line at one point, but if the 10 and 11 have been pulled then the 12 priority could still be the next in line. We have that same scenario at our store now, a priority 12 or 13 is actually first in line because the others have already beenn scheduled.

 

when i went to order mine, they X planned the one on the showroom floor (had a slow week), and bumped my trade up another 1k

im glad i didnt have to wait, and i have the IUP for sure now, not have to wait for it
