Ugly 05-I didn't think it was possible

my only complaint is the spoiler.... I think it's friggin' retarded, but the rest looks as good or bad as anything else that came out of SEMA. I dig the stripes, because it's creative, but I think I'll stick to solid stripes...
As I said, though... my only gripe is the spoiler. There's not even any function in it in drifting. If it's functional for straight line racing, then I think they could have used a little more taste.
my $.02

My only complaint is that it is aesthetically revolting. The color combinations look like someone raided Sonny Crocket's closet and threw out everything but the worst stuff, then slapped those colors on a car. Those blues don't match, in fact they clash, and the placement of the graphics is highly questionable.

I don't like the "tire tread" stickers. Makes it look like the car got ran over.

Like the one guy said, If you ain't got something good to say, don't say anything!! Just b/c its not the way you like it doesn't mean someelse ideas are bad, Thats actually a great thing to see, it'll waste the car that GM is backing w/ reese millen. B)

Drifting is racing around a very small circle track where you actually slide you car side ways the turns are that tight. You are judged on speed and form.
I tried to explain this in an earlier post.
Rampant I've tried to explain this as have you. But rather than understand it they want to resort to name calling.

Based on what, a supercharged Cobra Motor? It takes more than the ability to spin the tires to make a competitive drift car. Rhys has a lot more seat time in his GTO, and had a very strong finish towards the end of last season, and a 2WD Showroom Stock Title at Pikes Peak. The RMR GTO has a very well sorted out chassis, and a strong driver in Rhys Millen. How did the teenage driver of Gushi Auto finish last year? Well, Ken Gushi put his S13 into the wall. I'm not saying anything mean, I was just stating some facts.

Oh, that's right.
None.
So, a teenage kid, with very little sponsorship, half the hp/tq was more successful than the factory backed Goat, and you are saying that Millen/GTO is a sucessful combination?
Now, Hubinette with his all-but-stock Viper is a different story.

Actually,Millen won the season ending event at Irwindale. The fact that he set the record at Pike's Peak, proves he has a well set up car and knows how to drive it. As far as Sam in the Viper, I believe his Viper was banned from competition for the 05 Season.

Sorry, I stand corrected. I didn't realize Millen won Irwindale. But, Gushi is well respected, and more importantly, has a fan base.
Regardless, this will be a very good thing for the Mustang. No matter how how horrible that thing would look on the street.

But seriously folks, my opinion. If it was driving down the boulevard I think it would look horrid. But for what it is & what it's utilized for I see nothing wrong with it. Would be nicer if they had more stangs in the race with different paint schemes.
