Stickers might be a little much but I'd take it. Especially with that Cobra engine in it.

I tired of dorks putting down what other people do to their cars. If you don't have anything nice to say, put a lid on it.

I'm not into drifting, but some people are....

Whatever....

At least an IUP wasn't wasted on it.

I don't like the "tire tread" stickers. Makes it look like the car got ran over.

Put this in perspective from a business point of view. Remember we may love our Mustangs but they really are just the product of business. Many young people are into drifting which originated and is big in Japan. Ford is supporting this and has 3 sponsored cars out there this being one of them. Up until now all foreign cars are in this sport. Remember every time you see a Mustang decked out like this at least it was a sale away from the Asian car makers. Instead of getting angry when you see this you should be smiling ear to ear because we got the sale. As far as addressing the mods to the car, I can still remember my older brother getting his first new car a 72 Duster and coming home cutting off the mufflers to be replaced with cherry bombs, stripping the car and repainting it. My parents went crazy, how can you put those loud mufflers on a brand new car? You've recked it! No different, different generation.

Call me crazy, but it looks cool to me.

I wouldn't do anything like that to my street driven car, but for a racer it's pretty cool. The wing is dumb, but I'm getting used to rolling my eyes at goofy big wings. I think the tire-tread le mans stripes are a cool idea. The reflective material definately isn't helping the photography though.

You know that **** is fun to drive with that engine in it too.

Aside from the stickers, I don't see a problem with it. And it sure can back those stickers up with that 03 Mill in there. I didn't see any of the other SEMA cars going that route. Some of you guys really date yourselves by smashing it so fast.

Guys, guys, guys...

Just take a second and try to think a little.

This is a DRIFT CAR. It is meant for one thing and one thing only -- to gain attention for its sponsors!

What better way for Toyo to sponsor a drift car than huge tire treads on it? Especially on a car that goes through a set of tires every couple of runs, being sold to a massive audience who want to do nothing but burn through tires as often and frequently as possible.

That is marketing nirvana for Toyo.

If you would just get over you anti-rice, must-be-an-old-school-looking muscle-car-or-its-crap mentality for just 2 minutes, you would realize this is a good thing.

Why? Because, Ken Gushi, a respected asian drifter is running an American car. This isn't Millen or Hubinette in high-dollar factory rides. This is Gushi in a car most people can afford. (if you don't know any of those names, you shouldn't be talking about drifting)

Ultimiately, this will open up a HUGE door for Ford and the Mustang. A large audience and wider acceptance, means more companies will try to cash in, which means more, better and cheaper parts for you and me.

Of course this isn't a street car, nor is it meant to be! I certainly wouldn't want to drive that thing around, but I can appreciate how good this can be for the market.
