Which type of Mustang owner are you?
So, curious if your 05+ Mustang is your first or not. Seems many here never were interested in Mustangs til the 05 came out, but others have owned them all their lives. Which statement best describes you?
I had a 95 v6. It was my second car and I loved it. When I got it, it had almost 200k miles and numerous head gasket issues, but it looked great. I gave it up when the head gasket went for the third time and went right to a ford dealership to pick out an 05, this time a GT
. It also doesnt hurt that my dad, another long time mustang nut, has brought to every Ford/mustang club car show around here since I was 5.

Let's see if I can remember just the Mustangs...
1965 Mustang w/289 and auto
1967 Mustang w/289/302 and auto
1971 Mustang Mach 1 w/302 and auto
1973 Mustang Grand'e w/302 and auto
1967 Mustang Coupe w/289 and auto
hmm. I am seeing a trend here...
1979 Mustang Turbo w/4spd
1987 Mustang GT HB w/5spd
and Currently...
2005 Mustang GT Vert w/auto
Of course there was a smattering of Pintos, Fairlanes, Rangers, Explorers, one Chevy Camaro (when Ford had the Mustang II), a Pontiac and a couple imports along the way.
I love Ford Blue !!!

i've owned(Wife) Ford Explorers and Expeditions but never a Mustang. I loved the years up to 73,but could never afford to restore one. IMO the Mustang has never looked good since 1973 ...until 05...Sorry,please don't flame me. I speakith the truth
-'92 GT convertible; emerald green metallic body, titanium bottom, white top and white leather. Original owner, still got the sticker......
-2003 GT: silver, grey leather interior, all options.... kept it stock except for 5% tint. Traded it in on a.....
-2003 Mercury Marauder: 300a group- black on black, ofcourse. Great car, cool options. Kept it stock except for 5% tint. Sold it to get the wife a Denali XL (black, of course)
-2004 Mach 1: Azure Blue, automatic tranny (one of 140 made with auto and IUP). Added bolt-ons, etc..... fast, fast car but missed the manual trans. Car did have some annoying problems- rattles, hesitations, would shut off while driving (this has been noted on many Mach 1's)..... Traded it in on the '06 GT.
-Current '06 GT: mods are in the Car Domain site listed below...... been a great car. Bought it in September 2005 (build date 8/15). Have never had to put air in the tires, never a drop of oil, etc. Had the gas tank fill problem a couple of times when it was only a month old or so, but since has not happened in a solid year. The Shaker 500 sounded decent but the CD mechanism sucked....... replaced with aftermarket unit.
-Will have some day: 2003 or 2004 Cobra- coupe, black. Also a Roush car...... the current BlackJack looks killer!

Every new vehicle we've owned has been a Ford,so I think I bleed Ford blue.
Although the 65 is my son's,it really is my baby. He never drives it and I take care of her, but she isn't mine.
When I saw spy shots of the 05 I knew I had to have one for my own. I've always loved Mustangs and the time was right to make a dream come true.

My 07 is my first Mustang, and I'm absolutely loving it. I had thought about picking up a later-model New Edge Mustang GT, somewhere around 02-04, but ended up with an 04 350Z previously. When my Z was totaled (
) by my friend a month ago, the 07 GT was the only car I was really interested in. I wanted something RWD, plenty of horsepower, good looks, a large aftermarket, and there wasn't a whole lot out there. Once I test drove a GT, I was hooked, and sealed the deal about a week later.
