Turning off interior lights?
#1
Went to the drive in theatre this weekend and for the life of me, could not figure out how to turn off the intereior lights??? I thought they may automaticly go off.. but that was a no go.
Anyone here know of a trick??? Thought it may have something to do with the position of the key? Or did i just not wait long enough for them to go out (waited almost 15 minutes).
Any help would be appreciated bacuase i'm sure it won't be the last time the pony is sitting at the drive in.
And yes, you open the doors and sit outside if you choose. We had three poeple so we really didn't have an option. (tune the radio to 103.3) and open the doors to hear it.
Thanks in advance!

Interior lights go out after about 30 seconds when the doors are closed.
Did you check the dome light wheel?
It has a position for interior lights.
If it wasn't the doors or the dome light wheel, not sure what it could be.
Does it still happen to you now if you get out and shut door(s)?
It is October. Maybe you have a ghost haunting your pony.

as long as the doors are open you can not shut them off.....next time just open the windows and crank up the radio...problem solved...

If it wasn't the dome light wheel on the dash, you may have had one of the map lights on by accident. Not to worry, the car has a battery saver feature. If the lights are left on for more than 10 minutes (I think), they will automatically turn off. I know this for a fact as I left one of the map lights on overnight, and the next morning, when I started the car, the passenger one was lit. So I guess it works.

Drive in movies! Those were the days!!! Don't have them anymore around here. yeah, that battery saver is a good thing.
Happy Trails!!!
(now days, they have dvd players in the cars, how times have change)

I had the same problem! Couldn't figure out how to turn of the interior lights.
The dimmer switch on the dash has a detent on it so that if you roll the switch all the way forward the last quarter of an inch of switch travel turns on the interior lights! I couldn't figure that out at first. Was all set to take the car back to the Dealer thining it had a probelm. I'm glad I didn't!
I would have lookeed like a fool!
