I have the Top Gear video with the review of the '05 Mustang, but I need someone to host it for me. The file is apporximately 40MB and has been encoded in XviD. I posted in the Top Gear Vegas thread, but no one replied. If there's in interest in the video let me know!

hatsharpener is going to try and host the file... not sure how long it will take to be up but I've managed to get the file size down to 30 MB and encoded with Divx 5. You will need "video codecs" to view this file, I recommend installing the "Gordian Knot System/Codec Pack" found here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gordian...up.exe?download

If that link doesn't work, do a search on Google for Gordian Knot Codec Pack.

I sent information on how to upload it to my site to Ken. I'm not at home right now, but I can make the video available on my site where traffic is not an issue in a couple of hours.

I am positively surprised that Hammond didn't knock the plasticks inside! (he does it every time he tests an U.S car)

"THIS CAR DEFINES THE WORD COOL !" B)

I'm glad it worked for you guys... the audio went off in the middle for some reason, I tried correcting it, but didn't have much luck.

Thanks to hatsharpener and Wombert for offering to host the file.

<center>It Looks Magnificent!

How Many Times did he say that, about the 05? It is just Funny to me that try as hard as he might, He couldn't help but Be Excited about the Mustang. Even with comments Like "The Rear Suspension is Seriously Stone Age" and "The Interior is All Plasticy and American" He still seemed Quite Happy to Be Driving it.

What I don't get is his comment about the engine "With Just 300 Brake Horsepower" What other cars can you buy for this kind of Money with 300 HP, American Or European? I didn't Think you could come up with any....

And at the End he said the Engine was Asthmatic, and Earlier said it wasn't Rapid. But just before the End segment he said That "It Goes About It's Business as a Propper Muscle Car" , and when he Steps on the Accelerator His Head Snapped Back and He Comented about it "Rearing Up and Snoring." So which is it?

I think Europeans just have to Keep Up The Appearance that their Machines are Better. And the best way is to Knock an American Car. Like his Dig about American Cars and Corners. How does he even know what the Mustang's Solid Rear Axle is Capable of if He just drove it in a Straight Line?

Most of the Reviews I have read that actually tested the 05 Mustang and it's Solid Axle Suspension have Said it is a Very Capable Set Up. Most can't Believe how Controled and Compliant it is. Oh Well? Tell me what European Car Flies Off the Showroom Floor 15 Minutes after ariving? I guess We Americans Must have Done Something Right?</span>

They had the same complaints on the new Corvette when they tested it, but once they drove it arround the track they were very excited about it. I think the problem they had with the engine is that "european cars" produce more power per cubic inch versus american cars... either way I thought overall it was a pretty good review, I just wish they had taken it to the track to see how it ran.

On the video i got, the audio cuts out just at the end, when jeremy's about to put it on the wall. What'd i miss?!!? The last i heard was "Its not a very GOOD car..."
somebody please fill me in. I've been waiting for their take on it for quite a while, I'd say it was pretty good. He did say in the end that he was surprised at how well it handled that corner, but they didn't seem to want to make much of it, they kept sorta quiet about that, maybe they were embarrassed to admit it.

Ditto...audio cuts out at 6:55 on a 7:07 length video.

Typical Top Gear with American Cars, though. I still can appreciate the humor, though.

I never expected them to love the car

Obviously the brits have a dislike of the Solid rear axle, but I don't understand how they could knock the powerful simplicity of the 4.6

There is not a car that comes close dollar-for-dollar in my book.

I sent hatsharpener the clip with the "cool wall" where the audio cuts off, hopefully he can host it and post it up so you can see the end. Basically he says even though it has problems, it's a very cool car.
