Took my racing stripes off....
Got tired of them looking grey and stained then chipping so I took them off...problem is there's visible fading now...damnit... There anyway to fix this? It's not severe but it is noticeable. I'm probably going to get a carbon fiber hood to replace my rust o matic factory one and I can get a new spoiler painted for like 150... But the trunk and roof...oy.

I did the same with mine and also have the ghost stripes. I like it, but its more noticable on my spoiler than anywhere else. As far as getting rid of it, Im going to talk to a detailer friend of mine to see what he can do. Thinking a good buffing with a mid grade compound should atleast blend the spoiler with the rest of the car.

I had the same thing when I peeled the vinyl off. I washed and waxed with no result. They did come in handy when the paint shop was figuring out where to paint the stripes.
