The day is almost here!!!

Tomorrow is the day I take delivery!!!

I'll post pictures as soon as possible. Most of my time this weekend will likely be taken up breaking her in. , but I'm sure I'll find some time!

 

I was wondering what happened to your car! Glad to hear the day has almost arrived! Mine has an ETA week of 9/4 so I shouldn't be too far behind.

Picked her up today!!!!!

Got the $500 X-Plan Rebate!!! and applied that towards LoJack, which was $595.

It's awesome!!! Just love driving it!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to spend the rest of tonight trying to read the owner's guide so I can figure out how everything works...

They offered it up. I did send my dealer an e-mail the other day asking about the X-Plan rebate and if I was eligible for it - mainly just to let her know that I knew about it in case they tried to pocket it.....

No, I figured I didn't need that additional stress! I figured sometime next week it should arrive.

 

Oh, and remember I mentioned my clutch going out in my 17-year-old car a couple of weeks ago? Well three days of driving it after I got it back together and the starter is going out! It knows!!!

So did you do any kind of inspection of the car before you signed the papers? Did you drive it first?

 

Hi.

Yes. I test drove it and visually inspected it closely. I wasn't able to test the CD player because I forgot my CD but I checked out everything else.

The dealership had a checklist that they went through and gave to me when they checked everything out, but I still wanted to check it out myself.

All checked out good so the papers were signed.

Should be soon now! Bet you're getting excited!!

 

Nice looking Mustang!! I 've never really been a fan of red cars - but that torch red looks awesome in your pics I sure would like to find out who makes those leather covered armrest panels for Ford and see if we could order them direct rather than having to purchase the entire door panel....would like to add them to my GT/CS.

 

Sweet car! Although I'm a little biased, I'm waiting for the same car. Looking at your pics isn't making it any easier as the summer days tick away.

I called the dealer on Tuesday and he said it supposed to arrive the week of 9/11. So that matches with your 1 week difference in getting to the dealer.
