Will Saleen be producing any stang's this year? Probably in 2006 right?

 

Saleen is expected to unveil their 2005 Mustang at the SEMA show in November, where there will be as many as 10 aftermarket Mustangs on display.

As weird as this way may sound, I got one of those in the mail and I didn't buy a Mustang. My dad did too

 

I just checked with my dealer and I'm still on schedule for week of 9/20, not 9/9 like I thought. oh well.

But he did tell me that Job 1 was moved to Thursday. Don't know if it's been substantiated. Also he said I should see my car 15 days after it rolls off the line. If they don't park all mustangs out in the back lot like they did the 500. He says there were over 5000 of the 500's before they started shipping.

 

I WISH I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO EVEN TEST DRIVE ONE!
o well its gonna be AWESOME when i see them comming down the street!

Today was a big step.. Finally... Seemed like this was never going to happen.

The big thing for me though is when I see them on the dealer's lots. Me seeing that car for the first time is almost like meeting your favorite rock star. lol

All these posts are making me depressed. Everyone is talking about VIN numbers build dates, getting bucked, even getting air freshners in the mail...I ordered mine in the beginning of June and I can't get ANY info out of my salesman. All I have is my order number. :bang: This wait would be so much easier if I knew my build date.

 

We pay for our vehicles in cash if that answers your question. (In other words, no, we never buy new vehicles - can't afford them.)

 

Seriously... I think they are protesting against Satin Silver GT's bc I still don't have a build date either!! :bang:

No and no you don't have to know the price to order one. You agree with the dealer that you will pay X $ under MSRP or y $ over invoice when you place your order. When a dealer orders ANY car from FoMoCo they do not know the actual price until the car is built, shipped and the dealer receives the invoice from Ford.
