Oh yea, btw, there were some cars with window stickers in them, but I don't think you'll like what they said. NOTHING!~!! No prices at least, they are keeping that info from us too.!!! :bang: :bang:

You've confirmed my thoughts that we will NOT get official pricing until the big announcement on Sept 27.
Now, be careful with that camera, don't get yourself fired!

On the whole orange peel thing, i gotta say that Ford is really notorious for it, but its not consistently bad for every car but sometimes its just more noticeable than others. must be a paint formula thing for them or something. Interesting thing tho is that Tauruses r rarely orange peeled. Maybe that will filter thru for more new Ford cars if they study why the tauruses seem immune to it. Orange peel or not, dont matter to the overall mechanics or look of the style of the car. orange peel isnt even really that noticeable unless youre like standing two feet infront of the car so no biggie

Esteemed members of this board...
I ordered my Sonic Blue 2005 from a dealer in Wisconsin in the first week of July. Does anybody know about when that car will be built? I still do not have a VIN number or anything....

Is there any truth to blueovalnews report of defective 4.6L or 5.4L engines?
Seeing how you work on the line, maybe you can fill us in on situation, and if this report is just a bunch of hot air?
"Sources at one of Ford's engine plants told BlueOvalNews that Ford Motor Company has instructed assembly plants to stop shipping certain 2005 model year vehicles because they can contain defective 4.6L or 5.4L engines."
"The products that can contain the defective engines include the 2005 Ford Mustang GT, 2005 F-Series, 2005 F-Series Super Duty, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. Ford has instructed the assembly plants to stop shipping vehicles until they are screened to see if they contain the defective engines. It is not known if any products were shipped to consumers before the problem was noticed."

"We are now stating for a FACTUAL matter that Ford has ordered assembly plants to stop shipping 2005 model year vehicles due to defective 4.6L and 5.4L engines.
At this time, we are only ALLEGING that the GT "40" heads are defective."
