Tires...Toyo Proxes T1R vs.....

I currently have the Toyo Proxes T1R series which is the performance tire that is supposed to only get 15k on them. I currently have 15k on them and the front are still at 7/32 and the rear is at 5/32 (from 10/32..

Sooo question is...Can anyone compare their tire to this as far as performace goes? I know mine stick to the road like rails in rain or shine..Pretty spendy tires @ about $300 each, so I am trying to see if I should check into something else.

Thanks for any/all input.

I can't really compare b/c I have never run Toyo's but I have been running Nitto Invo's for about 5k - 6k and they are Great!!! They stick in the rain, in the heat, & everything in b/t...

Well the ST's are not the T1R's though. I know how mine handle and they stick to anything in any weather. So my comparison would be against the T1R's, not the ST's.

Good to know about the Nitto's though Pike. What kind of mileage are they supposed to get?

Funny you ask that b/c when I was shopping around that was obviously one of my bigger concerns; well that and traction and trying to find a happy median (but if I must say I lean more towards performance than wear on the tires)... I just can't remember for the life of me...
