Tired of letting the Dealers Dictate to me

Well after 2 months of waiting for my ordered 07 GT, I finally took matters into my own hands today. Last night at work I search my whole state for Ford Dealers and found a nice Black GT/CS with all my options except side airbags in a Dealership about 70 miles from my house. I e-mail them around 4am in the morning and a little after 8am the owner e-mail me back that he would accept the x-plan pricing. So a quick trip to my Credit Union and then a stop to get a car hauler and off I go to Logansport, In. The boys at Cass County Ford were great, the best . I'm in and out in an hour and back home with my Black beauty. This dealership has about 10 to 15 Mustangs on their lot and they do alot of striping of the lighter colors. Also had a Ford GT Hertige that was sold at $189,000. But hey I got my Mustang . Now I got to get my $300 deposit from the slow dealer in town. That will be a battle .

Great Job DLY

..hey, we congratulate you for taking things into your own hands. Now that dealers actually have stock, this might be more of an everyday thing. I would like to see some bigger pics too as I would like to see just how much of a beaut she is...

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccee. One thing though. I think that the CA chin spoiler loses some of its dramatic effect when the car is black, don't you think? Love that rear end. The car's that is...

Well I contact the old Dealer again and his story is he was on holiday and didn't get any of my e-mails until yesterday. Said he will try to get my 300 back and was sorry that we didn't connect better. We are waiting, perhaps I'll have to wait as long as I did to not get my car I can use the money on Christmas gifts.

$300

Well the Dealer finally cough up my $300 deposit today. When I got to the Dealer i couldn't believe what I saw. On the Show room floor was a 07 Shelby GT500, A 06 GT Hertiage, 2 Saleen Mustangs, and a 1956 Crown Vic in new condition, and another 06 GT Hertiage outside under their overhead show area. Know I know why I was treated the way I was. This Dealer is trying to go High end only and screw the small deals. But this was the first Black GT/CS that they had saw and were asking me 20 questions about their product. I'm done with this dealer and will go somewhere else when my F-250's lease runs out in April to get another truck.

Holy Crap

I just found a secert Web page from my none dealing Dealer.

http://www.saleenperformancedealer.com/index.html

He's got to sent a GT Mustang for each of these special Mustangs

He's dealing with Fosse, Saleen, Fang, and the Parnelli Jones Mustang.

It's no wonder he can't order any Mustangs for the little pee-on customers, He's dealing in high price Mustangs only.
