Hey Guys,

I was just wondering how often, mileage-wise, you're supposed to rotate your tires? And what is the correct sequnce? Yes, I do have the same size all around.

thanks!

RTFN!!!

Just kidding. Read the owners manual it tells you the sequence to rotate the tires with diagrams and how often they should be rotated.

I do mine every other oil change. Just easier to remember that way. Oil changes every 3K, religiously. I think your owners manual will say something like every 10K or so.

As far as sequence, if you have directional tires (not sure what's coming on the new ones) just swap front to back on the same side. If they're non directional you can go with a LR-RF, RR-RF rotation. Look on your side wall. If there's an arrow of any kind pointing the direction the tire rotates going forward, you have directional tires.

Every other oil change is good to go by if your doing themn at 3000 miles.
most tire manufactors will recommend 6,000 for rotations.
The stock tire is not directional, so follow the owners manual, fronts cross to the back, rears go straight forward.

I rotate every oil change, only because I do it myself and have a shop to do it in.

Balancing is not necessary unless you are getting a vibration.

I rotate mine every other stop light (rears only), or 10K miles (all 4).

If you look in the service manual it suggests every oil change to rotate and examine for wear. I've been good up to my last oil change. I missed the rotation, so this time, I rotated and will let them run across the next oil change. Then it's back to every change. Since I pack on plenty of miles, this keeps the tires wearing evenly.

I tend to rotate every 7500 miles. That's the average mileage of when people usually rotate tires. UNLESS you tend to do one too many burnouts then leave them as is.

:nono: I hate it when breaks get squeaky, even worse when they squeak while driving and as soon as you hit the brake the squeaking goes away, but once you let off them and hit the gas they squeak again. I hate that worse then just squeaky brakes when coming to a stop.

Hopefull you can rotate all 4 stock tires in one summer and get some better ones.

1) Burn out your rears.
2) Swap your fronts and rears
3) Burn out your rears
4) Buy new summer street tires (18 or 19 rims would be better)
