TIRE MONITOR PRESSURE Message W/ GT500 Take Off Wheels and Tires installed

I just got a used Take-Off set of GT500 Wheels and Tires. I tool off my stock 18inch chrome bullit wheels and installed the GT500 ones and inflated the tires to 32psi. I drove the car for a 15 mile drive and then around town a bit. I went to a service station and checked the tire pressure again and it was still 32 all around. I drove home and while on the highway the TIRE MONITOR PRESSURE fault came up on the screen. The little yellow low pressure tire light started to blink too. I got off at the nearest exit and checked the pressure and it was still at 32psi in each. I got home and did some research and noticed that I needed to change the Revs Per Mile to 775. I did that with my SCT and I still have the Message coming up and the light blinking and staying on. Do I need to go to the dealer and have this looked at? Did I do something wrong?? Thanks for any help.

Did you calibrate the sensors to the car?

American Muscle sells the calibration tool. The senors have their own serial # that the PCM has to recognize.

FYI I have a set of Take off 17" Bulletts for the winter but only 1 of the rims had a sensor. I got 3 more, calibrated to the car and put in a PCV Pipe Bomb. I get the same error after 18-19 miles of highway driving. The message goes away after the car sits for a while until I drive 18 consecutive miles again.

Yeah, sounds like you just need to reprogram the new sensors. The tool is cheaper from ebay as that is where I bought mine... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...motiveQ5fTools

I made the same wheel swap on my Shelby GT. Reprogramming the sensors is easy. Purchased the calibration tool off ebay too.
