tint getting scratched

I had my tint installed a few weeks ago and I just noticed there are several vertical scratch lines going up the driver side and passenger window. I went back to the installer of the tint and he said it was either the rollers were too tight or the seal at the top of the door was scratching it. I know people have had this issue and have you fixed it? What did you have to do?
