For Those Who Have Sat in the 2005
#1
I know a lot of you have been able to sit in the car, however, I don't know if any of you have been able to push in the clutch and move through some gears. If so, can someone comment on the throw? Is it short or long? Is shifting tight or way too loose?
Sorry if this has been discussed, but in my months of surfing and month of posting, I haven't seen this discussed in depth.

I should also note that my keyboard recently had coke spilled on it and is acting verrrry strangely. That "pooer" should say "shifter". Is there a way to change that? I didn't see it in the edit post feature.

I know their are people that played with the shifter more that I , but when I was in the Red GT at the 40th in Nashville it felt awsome. It was a short throw and seemed to be closer to the driver....aka I didn't have to reach as far for the **** as I do on my 03 Cobra.
Hope this helps

I had this short video from Cincinnati.
Short throw shifter
It felt really good to me, however, the last manual Mustang that I drove was a friends '82 5.0 which was about 15 years ago.
The clutch on the '05 pre-production model that I sat in was easy to push in and the shifting felt pretty tight. I couldn't really get a good feel of how good it would be without being able to drive it.

I tried to smoothly put it into reverse and when it wouldn't go I decided not to waste any of the 15 seconds that the camera allowed me for video on me trying to figure out how to get it there. B)
