Yep. Now that it's Summer, I use mine every day and roll them down when it gets close to 5:00.
I've never tested the distance though. One thing I don't like is how long you have to hold the button down.

But if it was shorter, you might put them down accidentally. I've hit the buttons on my key fob with it in my pocket before because other keys got pushed against it.

Is there anything else that we haven't touched upon yet? I don't have an '05+ (my Stang is a 2000 GT), but there are several in the Mustang Club I'm in. www.WabashValleyMustangClub.org No pictures on the site yet, but I hope to have some soon.

If you use the key fob to lower your windows..... you can stop them partially or mid way down also. Just hit the unlock button again while they are lowering or if you open the door or trunk while lowering they will stop.

Opening the door doesn't make them stop.

put the remote up under your chin and open your mouth. I know it sounds silly but it really does extend the range.

A friend of mine had to do that to start his car from inside the building at work.

yeah that does work, i used to do that with my 99 cougar... it was actually a pretty well-known thing at NECO (New Edge Cougar Owners www.fastcougar.com), and there was a huge thread on it a long time ago of people that thought it was ridiculous til they tried it.

That only works if you've had fillings in your teeth.

I feel like an diot now! I had to remove the battery and lost the scrolling songs and thought the was no way to get it back. I also didn't know that it could search through the genres of music. Guess it shows what you can learn from reading the manual. Thanks guys!

Red face warning message

"I'm always amazed at the features that come on our cars that are hidden in the glove-compartment book - features that are extremely useful but unknown until someone else shows us.

So what do you know about your '05 or '06 that others might like to know?"

My 07 GT beeps and sends a message if you try to back out of the driveway with the e-brake on....ultimate idiot proof.

...must be true. I have an 07, with AAT, and I definitely don't have this feature. If I'm wrong, please inform...

Sorry, STS. It's true. I did a lot of research on this back when I got my car and I've followed the subject ever since hoping Ford would fix the problem, but so far they haven't and I assume they're not going to since it's been so long now. I think if more people knew it was even available back then, they would start asking for it and Ford would work on it. VERY few people know anything about it.

Thanks for the scoop StangNut. Seems like it would've been a nice feature.

Yes, I'm getting a little goofy tonight. Had a bad day and all I can do is laugh about it.

My 07 has the A frame brace installed from the factory, wonder how many other suspension parts are on the car that are usually an up grade?
