They finally pushed me over the edge!
Well after seeing the post by Ed (ISELLFORD) about the 0% financing I checked to see if one of the local Ford dealers still had that Black premium GT.... They did... Notice the past tense!
IT'S MINE NOW!!!
It has the dark IUP with the red interior, manual transmission, active Anti-theft and the upgraded 17" wheels.
Man... What an improvement over my 97 GT, this car really loves to rev and it handles so well!
I still don't know what I will call her... Miranda is one name (means wonderful) and Epona was the Celtic goddess of horses.

Is that the GT from Ernest Mccarty I think it is? My second was parked next to it for a while, and I had the opportunity to drool over it while I was doing paperwork.
In any case Congrats to you.

Congrats!!
My 05 was black with red interior, great color combo! Tough to keep clean, but man when it was clean it looked like a million bucks.
There's a guy on MustangForums.com that calls his car Epona, I was wondering what the heck that meant!

Today I washed her and took her out for a spin up the back roads 30 miles or so to Clanton and down the interstate to home and I got to tell you this is one pony that LOVES to run! The handling is superb and the engine loves to rev, making her a blast to drive.
I will be going to the MCA meet on Saturday as a spectator only and Rita, my wife, will be coming as well. Rita and I will be staying in Birmingham Saturday night, September 2nd. While we could easily go home we decided to make it mini trip and burn some Holiday Inn points. Any suggestions on good places to eat? It was our anniversary Friday and we didn’t get to celebrate it so we are looking for some time away from the kids and all.
Thanks!
