I've recently had my thermostat housing replaced at the ford garage on my 09 4.0 v6 as it started overheating. I purchased a ford ESP basecare warranty 4 months ago which mentions that it covers the thermostat housing. However the ford garage are trying to charge me over $1,000 as they say it's not covered, even though it clearly states that it is covered on there website and in my contract. I haven't paid yet. Any advice is gratefully received

 

I don't know that it can get much better than in black and white print. Is there a service number on the contract you can call and then have them handle the claim for you?
